available on tape and reel for pick and place manufacturing. usa/canada: toll free: europe : (315) 4328909 (800) 4116596 +44 2392232392 model b0 430 j 50100 a00 rev d mounting configuration: this component requires a 0603 10 pf capacitor to b e mounted in front of the unbalanced port (pin 2) o f the balun as shown in the drawing below for optimum performan ce. the capacitor should be placed as close as poss ible to the balun to minimize transmission line effects as show n in the suggested pcb footprint below. note however, that in specific designs, the transmi ssion line widths need to be adjusted to the unique dielectric coefficients and thicknesses as well as varying pic k and place equipment tolerances. in order for xing er surface mount components to work optimally, the proper impedance transmission lines must be used to connect to the r f ports. if this condition is not satisfied, insertion loss, is olation and vswr may not meet published specificati ons. all of the xinger components are constructed from c eramic filled ptfe composites which possess excelle nt electrical and mechanical stability having x and y thermal coe fficient of expansion (cte) of 17 ppm/ o c. mounting footprint .033 [0.85] 6x .002 [0.05] 6x .010 [0.25] 6x .012 [0.30] 4x .014 [0.35] plated thru holes to ground 3x transmission line c1 part orientation (top view) footprint pad (s) solder resist circuit pattern
